4G network expands in Belarus. The project involved operators beCloud and MTS.
It is planned to significantly expand the 4G network, as well as increase the number of base stations in the 1,800 MHz and 2,600 MHz bands throughout the country. At the moment, the 4th generation communication from MTS and beCloud is available in 176 locations.
According to the analysis, in the near future the number of users may exceed 2 million.
It also became known that in the summer of 2019, operators will enhance the quality of the network for subscribers of the busiest regions – Gomel, Minsk, Vitebsk, Brest, Mogilev, Grodno, Molodechno, Pinsk, Bobruisk, Mozyr and more than 50 localities.
In addition, in June it is planned to commission about 300 base stations operating in the frequency of 2 600 MHz.
