Engineers have developed a breathalyzer that can detect marijuana
American experts managed to develop a unique breathalyzer, which is able to determine whether a person is under the influence of marijuana.
Scientists decided to make a similar development in order to facilitate the identification of people with drug intoxication in those countries where the use of cannabis is allowed for medical purposes.
The device was developed by chemical engineers.
Active testing of the product is currently underway, however, it may soon appear on sale. According to the developers, the device can detect cannabis even if a person also consumed alcohol.
This will help identify drivers who have used marijuana, which will provide a level of safety on the road.
